25/25 Dundee IV - Day 2 - Level 11 (1000/2000/200)

by MARTIN J SMITH on 31st October 2015 @ 23:44

12:45: Andy Lee on Table 4. He started the day with 105k and looks like he has increased that already.

12:40: Lee Richards out too.

12:39: Mark Dolan handing out the sweeties to his tablemates.

12:38: Jamie Caira out. 42 left.

12:34: On Table 7, Raymond "Spike" Innes raises, Ewan Brown shoves for about 35k then Scott Maxwell calls off his 25k in the blinds. Back to Spike and he makes the call with AQ. Scott has QQ and Ewan 77. The Ladies hold for the main pot and Ewan wins the side pot vs Spike.

12:29: On Table 8, Gary Britten open-shoves for about 40k with JT and is called by Carly Flockart in the BB with KK and a 29k stack. The Cowboys hold and Gary is very short now.

12:26: Also lost Gordon Happer. 3 gone so far, 43 left.

12:22: Bad day for Chun Lee. He started with 134,700 and is out in less than 25 minutes! I didn't catch his exit but some players are saying he was playing "like he had somewhere to go in a hurry". He apparanently called a 5bet shove to about 60k pre-flop with J4 and didn't get there vs AQ then called off with A7 on the River with 1 pair to bust.

12:17: Alan Reid trying to take money on a Dundee player not winning today but can't get any takers:

12:15: We have 13 prizes so quite a way to go till we get in the money today:

1st £9,390
2nd £6,100
3rd £3,980
4th £2,710
5th £1,970
6th £1,380
7th £1,050
8th £890
9th £800
10th £710
11th £640
12th £590
13th £590

12:12: James Gray has amended his picks to include his other adopted son, Tommy Noble, in 3rd place:

12:11: UKIPT Winner, Chris Ferguson, has picked Andy "Ho Yin" Lee and Craig Smith to final table today...

12:10: Seating at the start of today. Which table do you think looks the toughest?

12:06: Big hand for John Kelly (AJ) vs Michael Crawford (66). The Flop was AA6, blank on the Turn and a Jack on the River for John to take the lead and win the hand. Full double up for John. He started the day with 59k. Michael started with 87k.

12:02: Eduards K is out on the first hand! After a limp from Carly F on Table 8 he shoved all in for 16k and was called by Allan Kettles. Carly folded. It was KhJh vs 88. When the flop came down with a Jack Allan shook his head but he was simling on the Eight River and Eduards was sent to the rail.

12:01: Raymond "Spike" Innes has promised to sign up to Twitter and keep us posted on his progress. Something to look forward to.

12:00: Shuffling up! Average stack is 81,900. 47 out of 155 players remain.

11:58: Please tweet your own updates or support for anyone you are following using the #2525dundee hashtag and I'll include them here on the blog. Please also comment on the blog if you have any feedback or would like an update on a particular player.

11:56: Not sure who Yoyshy on Twitter is but he's back playing today...

11:54: Some more predictions...

11:41: Nor Paton fancies Steve Nicol FTW...

11:37: Reminder of the Day 2 structure:

11:30: Good morning! I've been asking around for people's picks for the eventual winner today...

23:50: If you were planning on coming via the Forth Road Bridge tomorrow you'll need to find another route and leave earlier than planned. You have been warned! http://www.forthroadbridge.org/news/avoid-forth-road-bridge-this-weekend

23:45: Seat draw for Day 2. 47/155 players return at 12pm.
